After my previous post (install: Help!), I tried some more to
get FreeBSD to work.I tried to put FreeBSD in a partition at
the end and then at the begining of the HD. Both failed as before.
I tried installing over the whole HD. No Such luck there, either.
After a hang, I used OS/2's Boot Manager to boot to the FreeBSD
Partition. I got the same initial message as booting from floppy,
then I got: can't find: /386bsd. I got several messages of this type,
and it just keeps going on like that, eventually repeating earlier
messages.
If it helps, I am using the kcopy_ah.flp for the boot floppy.
All material downloaded from gatekeeper.dec.com.
Again, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
