Since I have grown up with UNIX (starting in high school with v5 on a pdp-11/40) it is only natural that I'd want to carry it around with me. I;ll be doing a lot of network related things so I need good ethernet and serial port support to run tip,cu and PPP. I don't care about color so much but I do want fast response time, long battery life, I also want to run X11. Does any body know/have laptops running FreeBSD? If so what are the criteria? Can you give me a list? my hardware cost limit is $3,000. Thanks
