I have WALNUT CREEK FreeBSD 1.0

I have a 'Reveal CR-563-B' CR ROM DRIVE
(I assume this is actually a Panasonic drive)

I have looked at various files on freebsd.cdrom.com
and none of the FAQs seem to mention CR-563-B except for one
article that is actually discussing OS2.

So far managed to generate the 4 install floppies
using DOS techniques and have installed minimal UNIX system
to hard drive

Base UNIX O/S will boot from hard disk OK

I am now at the point where I need to bring down
the main distribution files and documentation
suggests using...

load_fd or
load_qic_tape or
load_scsi_tape

....However I want to read from my CD-ROM drive.

Does anyone know what to do next?

Tried using mount -t isofs /dev/cd0a /mnt
to no avail

Do I need to configure cd0a somehow?

Any assistance would be appreciated

Thanks
Stuart
