Which company, which offer ? : Heise Verlag owns a company called eMedia which sells Linux. See : their ads in all Heise Verlag publications. But I don't think that they write mainly about Linux and not about *BSD because they sell Linux LST via eMedia - which actually is available via ftp and the "Erlangener Software Team" - too. You suppose commercial Interests, where I don't see any !!! They also sell Minix and other Hardware/Software projects which were part of C't and iX in the past. eMedia makes those things only available to the mass. I could only share your thoughts, if eMedia would be the only company, which sells Linux in Germany ... But actually there are so many other distributers && distributions in Germany and they are additionally allowed to make advertisements in magazines of the Heise publishing company, too ;-) -- Andreas Klemm /\/\____ Wiechers & Partner Datentechnik GmbH andreas@knobel.knirsch.de ___/\/\/ andreas@wupmon.wup.de (Unix Support)
