Hi there,
 
Ever thought about an ideal configuration of system for developement
and enjoyment in 386bsd environment?
 
Here is my list:
        2 x 486DX2/Pentium local bus board with 32MB RAM each
        SCSI disk packs of about 3~5 GB
        a 4mm DAT Drive of 1~2GB
        Mach/S3_8xx accelerated display card
        19" Trinitron Display
        12 ppm Postscript printer
        CD drive and Soundcard
        28.8 Kbps modem with dial up access to internet
and for software:
        FreeBSD (or Linux when whole system may make world)
        X11R6/Motif/Xview
        AUIS-6.3, the Andrew User Interface
        Postgres version 4 release 2
        TK/TCL with extented,pixmap,photo,steal,dp,blt,itcl,XF and 
        
      postgres extension
        Clisp & Picasso (the UCB one)
        Emacs, ghostscript/ghostview
        Xmcd/Workman
        Mpeg_play and encode
        + literature from Mutics to OSF/1
 
how would you like it?
