Has anyone got any PCI cards to work with FreeBSD or
NetBSD? I'm going out of my way to put together a system that will
run either of the two mentioned *BSD os. Right now, I'm lookin' at
a pentium 60 or 66MHz cpu or a 100MHz DX4 cpu. For a video card, I'm
lookin' at either an ATI ultra pro (mach 32) or an S3 card for which I'm
planning to run X windows. Anybody have these two cards in vesa or pci
buses running X without any snags? For a hard drive, I'm lookin' at
having a 1G scsi drive. Anybody have any pci scsi controllers workin'
without any snags? I've looked thru the *bsd FAQ's and the systems.faq
for FreeBSD and didn't really find anything directly related to pci.
