It hangs after I boot to the floppy the second time (w/o filesystem floppy) at the message: Changing root device to fd0d I checked the FAQs. It said it was a disk geometery problem. I checked w/ the utility suggested, then went into the BIOS setup to confirm this. It is NOT a disk geometery problem. The setup program for FreeBSD had the proper values and there is no translation being done. Does anyone have any suggestions? What is device fd0d? I'd really like to run FreeBSD, and this problem is most annoying.
