I have been attempting to install FreeBSD 1.1 to my 486/33 using an
Adaptec 1542C controller. I get to the line:

changing root to fd0d

and then I get:

ISA strayintr 7

At this point the system hangs.

This seems to be related to the 1542C as I have installed successfully to an
ESDI drive with another controller. I would just like an explanation of the
error as it implies that there has been a spurious IRQ7. But IRQ7 is not
physically available on the 1542C. Unfortunately I dont have another 1542C for
verification.
