I know that there has been this big thread about FreeBSD etc.. vs linux,
but I want to know what is better to get for my SysTem in general, and if
they have more utils than the FTP distrubtion or not etc.. My System
stuff is:
450 meg HDD (New one...)
325 meg HDD
Dbl-spin Mitsumi <SP?>
Sound-blaster clone Sound card
2- 3 1\2 1.44 Megs drives
1- 5 1\4 1.22 megs drives
Local bus HDD\FDD controler supporting 3 Floppie drives
250meg Conor tape back up
486 DX - 40
8 meg memory
Current o\s's:
OS\2 2.1
Windows and DOS
Oh yeah, and a local bus SVGAcontroler with 1.X megs video memory on i
and a 15 inch monitor..
And the FreeBSD\Linux Partition is going to be like 100meg-150megs. Now,
having a system like mine, and that partion size for it, which one would
you get? Oh yes, it would be using the OS\2 2.1 Boot manager <SP?>. So,
please, Email me or post here. . .
