I've just installed FreeBSD from the CD. All seems well (so far) except
that I can't get it to recognise my magneto-optical drive (a Fujitsu
M2511 128M SCSI drive). The SCSI controller is an Adaptec 1542C, the
CD is a Toshiba 3401 (4301? whatever) set up as lun 2. At boot time
the system correctly identifies the CD drive (just as well since that's
where I installed from :-) but the M-O drive (lun 3) is listed as
<unknownunknown>. If I try to mount it with "mount -t pcfs /dev/sd0a /mnt"
it says words to the effect of "no disk label" followed by "device not
configured". I don't even know if I'm using the correct device entry!
What's happening and how can I fix it?
