Question:
Assuming that wd0 is not configured in the BIOS, and the SCSI controller's
BIOS boots off sd0, and sd0 being deicated entirely to *BSD, while wd0 is
entirely dedicated to D*S:

Is it possible to "write" a disklabel to *BSD's kernel memory and NOT to wd0
in order to get it mountable ?

BTW: No, I'm not going to try this at home...
