I have a modem connectet to /dev/tty00 which I am using for my SLIP
connection. I've written a script to reconnect with kermit, but kermit
always hangs on 'set line /dev/tty00'. It hangs for a long time, but when
you hit ^C it comes back and I can 'set speed' can 'connect' and dial with
no problem.

Since I was having problems with kermit, I tried to use cu instead, but
when I do a cu -l /dev/tty00 it gives me a 'device in use' message after
filing to creat the lock file. I know the device is not in use, and I know
the lock directory is ok.

This is with FreeBSD 1.1

Thanks! FreeBSD is cool.
