Date: 4 Jul 1994 12:16:24 GMT Organization: University of Oslo Lines: 19 Message-ID: <2v8uio$2qq@hermod.uio.no> Reply-To: Thomas.Berge@studorg.uio.no NNTP-Posting-Host: admin.uio.no X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.1 PL9] I have a machine running NetBSD and I want to make one of the directories available for mounting from a PC connected through the network. How should I go about? (Yes, I know that this really is a FAQ, but I have tried all the "standard" methodes without any luck.) I thought all that was needed was an entry in the /etc/exports and a running nfsd, but when I try to run the daemon it just ends without any messages when I start it (that is, it doesn't show up in the ps uxa list afterwards.) Any help (preferrably by E-mail) will be appreciated! _____________________________ _____ | Thomas.Berge@studorg.uio.no \ \ R \__ _____ | Faculty of Law \___________\ \/_______\___\_____________ | University of Oslo, Norway / ( /_/ ..................... `-. |_____________________________/ `-----------,----,--------------' _/____/
