I put the kernel on the floppy using the command suggested in FreeBSD install notes: dd if=.. of=.. bs=36b count=80. This floppy boots perfectly from a drive that supports 1.44m floppies, but on the 2.88 drive it only gets as far as the boot prompt and then it gets the following read errors when trying to read the kernel: Error C:0 H:0 S:18. Does anybody know what dd parameters I should use to get a good copy of the kernel on the floppy. Thanks Ian Maloney
