There's Seyon, which is a package for FreeBSD on ftp.cdrom.com:. It needs to be installed suid root, or you have to mung the locking directories so they're world writable. It requires X. I have patches that make it work properly (someone also fixed kermit for this recently, I remember), but I haven't rolled them out because I'm always running several versions of the operating system behind, and am nnever sure they're current. If you don't want to use X, there's something called pcomm, though I never got it running yet (no need). --
