The linker bombs out in exception.o with a half dozen : undefined symbols (_biomask, etc.). : Do I need anything else to build the kernel? I only got the sys.?? package. : Thanks. The 'config' command in 1.1 won't work with the kernel sources from 1.1.5(.1). You need to get the 1.1.5(.1) 'config.' Apparently, it now generates a file called config.c, which you need to link the kernel correctly. The simplest way to get it would be to snarf the sources for it out of the FreeBSD-current tree and compile it, then use it to config your new kernel. : -- : | _ : Markolf Gudjons, Lehrstuhl fuer Betriebssysteme DoD #784 : |_|_`__ : RWTH Aachen, Kopernikusstr. 16, D-52056 Aachen __=o&o>__ Hope this helps. -Bill -- _ /\ _ Join the / \_/\_/ \_/\_/ \ .----.
