The : source compiles with no problems (using bsdi as the os), but when trying to : run the test program, it doesnt seem to do anything. You would probably have better luck compiling it for netbsd instead as that is a much closer (near identical) environment. I have patches to the makefile for freebsd and have submitted them to the term maintainer but they are pretty trivial copies of the netbsd defines. The only addition is a #define USE_HERROR in config.h which also I believe applies to NetBSD. It should be sufficient to just do a ./config netbsd -root; make ; and get a working system. Mail me if you want the freebsd patches or have further problems.
