I got a copy of minicom 1.6 and compiled it with no problems. The trouble
is that it won't talk to my modem (/dev/tty01). Reading archives of this
group, i tried recompiling without POSIX defined, and tried running it
with stty -f /dev/tty01 -clocal and clocal. nothing has worked. I know
the modem is ok, since i'm on it now, and c-kermit and seyon work fine.

any suggestions?
