If your mailer is not setgid-mail and your spool directory is not 775 like that : drwxrwxr-x 2 bin mail 512 Jul 11 21:03 /var/mail/ Then no one except root can write in it. Either you put your spool directory with 1777 (BAD !) or you change Pine to behave with a setgid bit to mail. But maybe Pine won't allow that (I don't run it) so you'll have to check Pine sources and READMEs. -- Ollivier ROBERT roberto@hsc.fr.net Hervé Schauer Consultants Ollivier.Robert@keltia.frmug.fr.net PERL / MIME / PGP 2.6ui FreeBSD keltia 1.1.5(RELEASE) RELEASE#0 i386
