Compared to what?  It seemed like a total dog to me...  I mean, I can
see the advantage for someone who really wants that MacOS running at
the same time, but the speed, well, it seemed to really suck on my
IIfx with 20Mb RAM, compared to a 386SX with 4Mb RAM running NetBSD...
I think my compile of Perl 4.035 took about six hours.

While we're talking about speed hits, how about the WALLET hit?  MachTen
is expensive!

Also, last I checked they weren't giving out free sources to MachTen...
