I tried to boot my PC from floppies with FreeBSD
every time the first disk asks me for the FILESYSTEM
floppy it then crashes with a kernel error (TSS invalid)
page kernel fault . It crashes as soon as I press a key to
continue booting from the second floppy (so it crashes without ever
getting to read the filesystem floppy)

If that is a known behavior for some known reason please
let me know. If it is not I would appreciate any ideas.

NOTE: I tried obvious things such as making sure the floppy is OK
 and my system is OK.

Also: I am looking for a CD-ROM drive for BSD. Can I use any SCSI
drive and hook it up to my SCSI Future Domain Controller that I use
for my hard drive too? What cd-roms are supported?

Thank you in advance,
