(1-800-827-6364) Lines: 22 Sender: news@search01.news.aol.com Message-ID: <2vujhl$nqu@search01.news.aol.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: search01.news.aol.com I tried to boot my PC from floppies with FreeBSD every time the first disk asks me for the FILESYSTEM floppy it then crashes with a kernel error (TSS invalid) page kernel fault . It crashes as soon as I press a key to continue booting from the second floppy (so it crashes without ever getting to read the filesystem floppy) If that is a known behavior for some known reason please let me know. If it is not I would appreciate any ideas. NOTE: I tried obvious things such as making sure the floppy is OK and my system is OK. Also: I am looking for a CD-ROM drive for BSD. Can I use any SCSI drive and hook it up to my SCSI Future Domain Controller that I use for my hard drive too? What cd-roms are supported? Thank you in advance, D.
