Hi all,
  I have an AST 386/33 Premium II(I didn't pick it) that I get to use for
an lpr/pcnfs server. When testing we used a Pentium 66 from gateway and
after a bit of configuring it worked perfect. The AST is another story.
When printing a file created in Windows and written to a file using the
hp laserjet4 driver it does a hard reset. This happens when either printing
a file from a pc through pcnfs or printing a file by ftping it over and
using lpr.

setup:
    AST 386/33 Premium II
    8 meg memory
    100 meg conner hard disk
    FreeBSD 1.1 release
    PCNFS 2.0 (rpc.nfsd)
    HP laserjet4 Plus (6 meg) (lpt0 using interupt 7)
    SMC wd8013 16 bit network card (interupt 5, 0x280, 0xd800)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

thanks,
  Jeff Evans
