I don't know if this is a FreeeBSD bug or a _feature_ of
my motherboard. Anyways, here is the description of the problem:

I have a MAGUS motherboard model# S486-66 with 16M ram.  When
I boot FreeBSD on it it reaches the :- prompt ok. Just after it
is finished saying

text=<0xXXXXX> data=<0xXXXXX> bss=<0xXXXXXX>

it reboots! The process will then repeat ad nauseam.

Is this a common way fro FreeBSD to fail on bootup? Does anyone
have any idea what is happening?

Please help, or I will have to keep running this on my 386-33
while my 486 sits idle. :-(

I already tried changing my brain dead Phoenix (falls back into the ashes)
Bios to AMI.  No difference!

I am using a friends account so please direct email replies
to pnadeau@footprint.com.
