Don't buy it. Geeze, doesn't anyone read the FAQ before asking
questions anymore???

Last time I said forget it to this question, Terry Lambert accused me
of spreading propaganda because I discouraged someone from trying to
strong-arm their way through the lying Adaptec technodroids to maybe,
just maybe, get a glimps of the non-disclosure programming info.

So, call them and help write a driver if you want. But be prepared to
be very disappointed.

(Note: Terry does have a point -- if you already own a board from this
company, call them and bug them relentlessly until they send you
programming info, and maybe something can be written for the users who
do have the card already.

But, I can't see Terry's point in spending lots of time and money
trying to develop for a product that the developer actively tries to
discourage. I say screw 'em! There are other companies out there who
make products that work with NetBSD, FreeBSD, and Linux who will be
glad to tell you how they work. Support those companies -- don't buy
from a company who couldn't care less if their policies make their
products unusable on your OS of choice. This goes both for Adaptec
and Diamond.)
