The machine is a pure unix server and requires no 'dos' partition at all. I also have one machine with a ESDI drive that I want to install the system on as a test before we do the others, does it support ESDI, dos NetBSD support ESDI? I have heard that NetBSD 1.0 is soon to be released, what will be the changes that would warrent me to sticking with Net and not Free. If you have thoughts on this please email or post here.
