Lines: 20 Message-ID: <30fd2q$plb@Venus.mcs.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: venus.mcs.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2 (KSD)] I have a cheap panasonic 9 pin printer that I would like to use for printing source code, dumps of output etc... The only way I know of printing from FreeBSD is doing a: cat file > /dev/lpt0 There has to be a better way ;) Can anyone point me to any suggestions on how to make or obtain a basic filter to use the printer. One so I could say like "lp file" and have it print to the printer with the right spacing, page breaks etc...
