Don't base your work on 4.4 Lite! Go for NetBSD instead. It has devided all the
machine-depenend parts seperated from the machine independed parts. You will only
need to port/rewrite the low-level code. The NetBSD developers will be more than
helpful to assist you with upcoming problems, I think.
