What are you trying to do, threaten them into including 2.5.8? "Oh
no, we might lose another user! Quick, port 2.5.8 before he goes!"
If that's your attitude, the Linux users can have you.
Incidentally, aside from the fact that you can build gcc2.5.8
yourself, it's substantially buggier than 2.4.5. But that would be
just like a Linux user -- must have the latest bells and whisles at
all costs, even if it doesn't work as well as the tried and true.
