I'm running FreeBSD 1.1 on a 386dx25. My problem is thus. A while back I
had problems getting the system to accept a dialin. Switching the getty
from /dev/tty00 to /dev/ttyd0 seemed to do the job (i dunno why). Then
of course I started encountering I can't dial out on the same line
problem.

No problem. I put another modem in. So then I get a new and more amazing
problem. The dial out modem on tty01 (com 1) is working peachy. The
dial-in modem (ttyd0) has stopped, kinda. When i detach the getty
process so that I can dial out on the tty00 modem I find that I can send
data but not receive it. Very tasty. With the getty in place, remotes
connect fine but never get the login prompt.

Not sure what pertinant information to provide so here's a smatter:

Hope that is enough for someone more clever than myself to give me a
clue as to the problem. I would sincerely appreciate some assistance.
Thanks.
