First the good news: FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 installed fine, and is currently
busy rebuilding XFree86 (Yeah, I know. I really _do_ want to do this.)
Thanks gang; the install process is great.

But, when I use mount_pcfs (e.g. in load_dos), I got the following
slightly distressing console messages about every second floppy:

/386bsd:fd0: recal failed ST0 70 <abnrml,seek_complt,equ_chck>

hardware

Trend VLB MB with OPti chip set
	16M RAM
	#9 GXE 64 VLB
	UMC VLB IDE/floppy
	540 M quantum IDE
