Hmm... have you seen the code??? All of the changes were backed in to the 4.4 code (and some.) It really works well in 4.4 also. There might be some problems with it -- but I don't think so. I did not know that access was allowed yet, but anyone that really wants/needs to look, can probably ask. The VM stuff and the new vfs_bio took about 2-3 wks to do -- it wasn't just copied from Net/2 (in fact I had no access to 4.4Encumbered -- so vfs_bio was a b**ch, and the stuff that can look different, looks VERY different -- because it is of very different heritage.) The comment about the VM system is interesting though since almost everything is different (queue mgmt, variables, etc.) >Please keep your misinformation to yourself. Good idea!!!
