NetBSD-1.0 has all the latest, greatest PPP stuff built right in (although you'll probably have to rebuild your kernel to get a PPP device configured into it). NetBSD-1.0 is due to be released end of July/beginning of August, last I heard. I don't remember if NetBSD-0.9 had PPP or not. I think it didn't have it yet, if my memory hasn't failed me.
