Date: 21 Jul 1994 15:41:24 GMT Organization: Radiation Oncology, NCMH/UNC, Chapel Hill, NC Lines: 13 Message-ID: <30m4v4$dvu@bigblue.oit.unc.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: phoenix.radonc.unc.edu I've ported the lpr subsystem of FreeBSD to Ultrix, but when compiling, I have one unresolved function, _validuser. Where can I find this function in the source tree ?? It checks hosts.equiv and hosts.lpd to see if a host is valid. It is most likely in libc or libutil, but if anyone knows where for sure, it would save me some hacking/searching. Also, if you know where I can find BSD lpr already ported to Ultrix, I'd appreciate a pointer, I know someone had done it a few months ago. Thanks, Jim Boyle
