Well, I'm as pretty much John Q. Random FreeBSD user. I have uploaded
small (read uncomplicated) binaries to our main archive site (Walnut Creek),
sent mail to our mailing lists, and met a good response. Nowhere did I
run into any sort of wall due to not being a core member. It may seem
that the FreeBSD system would lend itself to a 'secret cabal', but my
experiences have been only with an open, friendly group who maintain
the source tree for us. I cannot remember anything useful/necissary being
turned away.

Why does this come up every month here?
