I have a system which is communicating over 3c509 (UTP) network to its twin
in the next room (no HW problem) using some DOS networking software. When
this goes on, the UTP Hub shows both links "active" and flashes the
send/receive light when packets dribble. Good.

When I bring up FreeBSD, and do the ifconfig for ep0, I don't get an active
indication from the Hub. When I ping out to the other box, the active light
comes on momentarily, but no Send/receive, and of course the packet is not
seen on the other side. Pings coming in don't work either.

I'm guessing I hosed the config for ep0 device. Any suggestions or ptrs to
documentation?

Thanks.
