For some reason the printing to the parallel port (on a 2-serial, 1 parallel,
1 IDE, floppy controller generic card) (lpt0) is very slow to a laser printer.
I haven't tried any other printer, but the "data" light on the printer blinks
for a long time
lp is ready and printing

It's been over 5 minutes and the first page hasn't even printed. My printcap
looks like:
# @(#)printcap 5.3 (Berkeley) 6/30/90
lp|local line printer:\
:lp=/dev/lpt0:sd=/var/spool/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:
/sys/i386/conf/ICUS:
device lpt0 at isa? port? tty irq 7 vector lptintr
[FreeBSD 1.1.5.1R, btw]
Suggestions?
