I've installed the three floppies, and now I'd like to get SLIP running and FTP the rest of the distribution. Unfortunately, I can't seem to dial out. I have a USR Sportster 14.4 internal on port 0x2e8, IRQ 5. FreeBSD detects my other serial ports when it boots, but doesn't seem to notice this one. What steps do I need to take to access my modem? Sorry for posting what certainly must be a frequently asked question, but it's not mentioned in any of the (sparse) documentation on ftp.cdrom.com.
