BSD is a dead religion, : Linux is the choice of a GNU Generation Except that the systems that make up gnu.ai.mit.edu are all BSDish in one way or another - AIX, HPUX, BSD, etc. Many of the Linux utilities are GNU utilities, and have a BSDish flavor to them. NetBSD is a portable OS with a wide range of platforms. Maybe Linux is the choice of the Intel generation. Personally, I wouldn't mind having a Sparc 20 running NetBSD. -- Rick Kelly rmk@rmkhome.com rmk@bedford.progress.com
