At boot time (or at anytime attempted later) the nfsd (daemon) and the mound (daemon) refuse to load into memory. The "nfsd" reports: Can't register with portmap. How do I fix the problem? I want to use the 386bsd machine as a NFS server. Also, I already have Freebsd running as a NFS server. For the socially deprived, my fixes to FreeBSD will arrive soon.
