I was actually for taking the approach of moving 4.4Lite into FreeBSD, but we decided to take the opposite approach. This also allowed us to easily pick&choose the FreeBSD enhancements to merge in. (We have left out the low-level clustering for now, but most everything else has been moved.) I guess that FreeBSD just did what makes it feel good (with a little more complexity for the merge), and NetBSD just did what makes it feel good... John dyson@implode.root.com
