I can't, I'm afraid: all my Dr. Dobbs' are in England, and I have no access to any code at all at present :-( If anyone has access to the Dr. Dobbs articles, there was a call-out box in one of them which explained the Jolitzes' position. If anyone who has access to the articles could post a summary, Mr. Tobin might be satisfied.
