Anyone know where >I can look? On which system ( FreeBSD, NetBSD, 386BSD, BSDI and which release ) please ? And what do you mean by account device ? If you mean process accounting, you need to enable the "accton" command in /etc/rc in FreeBSD. I think for NetBSD and BSDI it should be the same. One thing i remember, that on earlier versions accounting was buggy, so it may not work, if you have an older release. -- ATS ( ats@first.gmd.de or ats@cs.tu-berlin.de ) Andreas Schulz GMD-FIRST 12489 Berlin-Adlershof Rudower Chaussee 5 Gebaeude 13.7 Tel: +49-30-6392-1856 Germany/Europe
