Message-ID: <AH6QBAUW@math.fu-berlin.de> Sender: news@math.fu-berlin.de (Math Department) Nntp-Posting-Host: fub46.zedat.fu-berlin.de Organization: Free University of Berlin, Germany Date: Sun, 31 Jul 1994 14:33:35 GMT Lines: 22 Hi, I tried to build akcl-1-625 on my FreeBSD-1.1.5.1(R) system, and got stuck in trouble with the unixsave.c stuff. I tried to use unexsunos4.c which came with emacs-19.25. Thus emacs-19.25 can dump itself with shared libraries. To work GNU's unexec() into akcl was not hard, but it produces bad output, and I can't figure out why. When I run raw_kcl and (save "saved_kcl") then saved_kcl seems to run fine. But when I save saved_kcl once more (save "saved_2"), then FreeBSD refuses to run it even though the exec header seems reasonable set up. I guess it's a problem with the dynamic linker stuff. But I don't know where to look at and how to fix. Can somebody help me here? Thanks -Gunther -- Gunther Schadow_________________________Hopfenweg 19, Berlin 12357, FR.
