Message-ID: <CtrBLG.LA1@usenet.ucs.indiana.edu> Sender: news@usenet.ucs.indiana.edu (USENET News System) Nntp-Posting-Host: mimosa.astro.indiana.edu Organization: Indiana University Date: Sat, 30 Jul 1994 14:15:12 GMT Lines: 22 Hi all, I am trying to get a uucp connection established to an HP-735. I have one already that has been working to a DECstation for quite some time. When I connect up the the HP, however, the handshaking fails. The descriptive message the Log file givs is '(LOGIN)' and that's it. If you look at the Debug file with the '-x handshaking' flag turned on for uucico, the last thing the HP sends before the abort is 'LOGIN'. I am stuck here. Does anyone know what I am missing?
