Lines: 19 I finally found a way to make 386BSD 0.1 boot on my machine without having to disable my external cache and add wait states. The only way my 386/40 would boot 386BSD is if I add wait states and disable the cache, and I didn't like doing that (because you can't remove the wait states and re-enable the external cache after 386BSD boots) so I thought of another way to slow down the machine, and it's really stupid; but it works. Unturbo your machine and then hold down the spacebar while 386BSD boots. On my machine this sucks down enough computrons to let 386BSD boot, and after it's booted I can returbo, release the spacebar, and play with 386BSD. Hopefully it'll work for you too.
