From 1.0R to 1.1R, my Gateway keyboard froze.  This was due, I understand,
to the LED code.  The work around is to keep the keyboard active while the
system is being booted.  i.e., boing-boing-boing on that numberlock key
until the light starts flashing (this is in the FAQ, btw).

Under 1.1.5, my Gateway keyboard is working prefectly.
