Next fall I'm giving a class on computer architecture etc. for
students specialised in AI (specialisation of CompSci dept.).
One of the things I'm covering is an intro to Unix (we run
mostly Sun machines here running SunOS 4.1.3 or Solaris 2.3).
I'd like to tell them the basic difference between BSD Unix and
SysV Unix, but don't see anything in giving them a list of
changed/differing system calls, etc.

If anyone could provide me with
	- a history of BSD Unix
	- a history of SysV Unix
	- a clear explanation of what's the basic difference
I'd be tremendously grateful---and my students, too.
