Keywords: CDROM cheap X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #5 (NOV) Which cheap CDROM drives work on FreeBSD ? I'm using an Adaptec 1542B for my harddrives, so I could use SCSI drives. SCSI drives seem generaly very expensive. I also heared reports of varying success with Mitsumi drives. Any definitive answers ? Please respond with accurate model name and manufacturer and if possible also price. Regards Tibor Sashegyi
