I have a few clients that are interested in putting non-unix networks on
the Internet. Usualy they're netware, WfW, or Mac's on ethernet.

I think the best way to do this is to drop a small unix box on their
networks to act as an Internet server of sorts. It can run SLIP on a
modem and route for the network as well as being a news/mail server,
etc...

I know that I can set up a 486 that will do this using and of the ???BSDs
or Linux. However, I would like to be able to expand the system to handle
a 56K or ISDN connection when the client needs more bandwidth. Is there
any sync serial support under any of the BSDs?

Regards,
