Heh - I installed 1.1.5.1 and the system once hung when I exited X11, after
playing heavily on the ALT/F-keys.

You get the same symptom with kill -TERM 1 and logging out on all VTYs.

BTW init going multi-user on just typing CR for the root password on an
insecure console is a questionable feature; especially since it advises a ^D
to go multi-user.
